Kitchive

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 30, 2026

These terms apply to the Kitchive iOS application ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. In addition, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

The service

Kitchive is a personal recipe app. The recipes you save belong to you and are stored on your device — and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud. We provide no account system and host none of your content. The one server Kitchive runs exists to hand an import to an AI provider and return the answer; it keeps no copy of what passes through it, as the privacy policy describes.

Content you import

Links, captions and pages you import are read for your own personal use, the way a browser would open them. The rights to that content stay with its creators; Kitchive records where a recipe came from so you can find it again. Do not import content you are not permitted to use.

Your responsibilities

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Because your recipes are stored on your device and in your own iCloud, we cannot recover data lost through device loss, deletion of the app, or failure to keep backups. Recipes read or proposed by AI may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, including from cooking a recipe the app read or proposed. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or excludes rights consumers hold under mandatory law.
