Kitchive takes a recipe from wherever you found it to a step-by-step cook mode — and keeps every one of them on your phone.

Bring it in, however it arrives.

Share a link from TikTok, YouTube or a recipe site, photograph a page, or paste the text. Kitchive pulls out the ingredients, steps and times and hands you a draft — nothing is saved until you've seen it.

Blank beats wrong. And no arithmetic.

When AI reads for you, the lines it was least sure of are marked. If a recipe doesn't say how much, the field is left blank for you — a missing amount is a five-second fix; a wrong one ruins dinner.

Then change the servings and every quantity follows: a third of a cup times one and a half is half a cup, not 0.4999. Read it in metric or imperial, °C or °F, without rewriting what you saved.

Cook one step at a time.

Cook mode shows each step in large type, keeps the screen awake and keeps the ingredients one tap away. A timed step's timer keeps counting on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with Pause and +1 min right there.

Plan the week. The list adds up.

Lay out breakfast, lunch and dinner across a week, and one tap puts the whole week on the shopping list. Send a recipe to the list and it merges with what's there — 500 g plus 1 kg becomes 1.5 kg. Ticked items drop into a basket, and the list is on your Apple Watch too.

Private by design

Your cookbook is nobody's business.

Every recipe lives on your phone. There is no account and no copy of your recipes on our servers — and the privacy policy is written to be checked, not to reassure.

    No email, no password, no sign-up. Kitchive has no way to know who you are.

  • On your phone

    Recipes, photos, your plan and your list stay on the device — and in your own iCloud only if you turn sync on.

  • AI only when you act

    Every import screen says exactly what would leave your phone, and nothing goes until you act. Your first link read with AI counts as a yes for links you share later — Settings turns that off.

  • No ads, no tracking

    No advertising identifier and no tracking SDK. Anonymous usage statistics and crash counts are off unless you switch them on.

Where are my recipes stored?

On your phone. Kitchive has no accounts and keeps no copy of your recipes on its servers. If you turn on iCloud sync (part of Kitchive Pro), a copy lives in your own private iCloud as well — and nowhere else.

What leaves my phone when I import something?

A link is opened by your phone, the way Safari would open it, and read there. Only what you send to AI leaves for Kitchive's server — the page's text, or a smaller copy of a photo with its location data removed — on its way to an AI provider, and Kitchive keeps no copy. The privacy policy lists every host the app ever contacts.

Does it work without AI?

Yes. Reading on the device — links, pasted text and photographed pages — is free and unlimited, with or without Pro. A photo of a finished dish is the exception: only AI can look at a plate and propose a recipe for it.

Can I import from Instagram, Facebook or Threads?

No. A link to any of them is refused before anything leaves your phone. Links from recipe sites, TikTok and YouTube work, a photograph of a page or a plate works, and any recipe can be written in by hand.
